I went fishing yesterday and most of the places I wanted to fish were unreachable due to snow. I don’t have a four wheeler of snowmobile to get to these areas and don’t want to pull my xt pro cabin when I am fishing alone. I was wondering how anchoring a hub in snow that is hard and deeper than the length of your anchors. Thank you in advance for imput.

I would just remove the snow and anchor to the ice. That’s what I’ve been doing. I haven’t ran into snow that is so hard u can’t move it….if it’s that hard I’d consider it ice and anchor in from there.

With a shovel, I use either a plastic or an aluminum scoop shovel, depending on if the snow is packed down

I’ve never really looked at how the anchor system worked on them. I looked one over today and it makes way more sense now.
