Vexilar said their LiFePO4 battery is 13.2-13.4 volts at 100% charge; 12.6 volts at 0% charge and to store long term at 12.8-12.9 volts. Anybody know what the long term storage voltage is for Amped Outdoors LiFePO4 battery? My Amped Outdoors fully charged voltage was 14.09 volts.

Netguy doesn’t really answer your question directly but here is what Amped Outdoors says on their FAQ page
    https://ampedoutdoors.com/pages/faq

Q – How to I store my battery when not used?
A – Never store your battery fully discharged. It is best to put a 50% charge on your battery and avoid leaving for a long period of time without charging and in a cool dry place. To ensure the best performance from your batteries for many years, put a charge on your battery at least every 2-3 months. Store your battery in temps of 40-80 degrees and never leave on the charger or charge in below freezing temperatures.

You could also give them a call. In my experience their customer service has been good.

Called Amped Outdoors. They said anything above 13.5 volts is considered fully charged. I got 14.09 on my 15 amp battery.
They recommend ~13.2 volts for long term storage with nothing hooked up to it.
I am drawing mine down with a computer fan.

For Vexilar LiFePO4 see the attached picture for their recommendation. They said you can run it down by running the flasher. I’m doing that plus the Glo-Ring is on.

Amped Outdoors called me back. More info.

If you don’t have a voltmeter draw the battery down to zero and charge half-way. For my 15-amp battery and 3-amp charger, if drawn to zero it takes ~5 hours to fully charge, so charge ~2 1/2 hours. Doesn’t hurt the battery to draw down to zero.

Also while in long term storage, every 60 days put on charger for 5-10 minutes to wake up the BMS (battery management system).
