haha, haven’t been checking back here and this sure took a turn!
Ended up making a good deal with the guy and got the car, everyone’s happy. I think there was just some mis-interpretation happening via text message.
Good guess with the Subaru, but alas, we already own a ’14 outback.
I’ve liked our Subaru pretty well, apart from the fact that the headlights go out like 1-2 times per year, and to change them you have to lay flat on the ground and stick your arm up through the wheel wells, total PITA.
Oh, and when the transmission catastrophically failed at 70 mph, twisting one CV shaft and snapping the other one off completely, at 75k miles. But hey, that was eventually replaced for free by Subaru(I highly recommend NOT going to the WBL Subaru shop).
