I miss doing this. We not so much this last couple of weeks with the heat but just having time to sit and relax. I have way too many projects to get done and feel guilty when I try to relax and can’t. Unless you count fishing and I have been doing that more so… toast But to answer your question, it is just fun.

Yeah the wife and kids know where I am, and it’s at the work bench playing with fishing stuff or just watching the tube with a cold one in my hand. Sometimes I get asked if I’m ever coming inside. mrgreen

I made a whole turkey right after I got it (turned out decent), and I’ve fallen back into using the Weber kettle since. I’m sure I’ll pick up the pace this fall and let ya know!

I don’t know if it’s just the times but I have found myself with a beer or bourbon in my hand when working on just about any project these days. Had my boat over to my mechanics house the other day for some work and planned to just drop it off. Turned into 3 hours and many beers, and my motor still isn’t completely fixed! Guess I’ll have to do it again this week. jester

He’s not slow. Just on this occasion because we just had a good time. He’s actually a very good mechanic and friend.

I understand it 100% and am in the same boat. I have been practicing this sport for a few years now. turns out it is just as good as football or baseball game a lot of nights. Just no tv on. Bingo Bango !!!
