Always a good feeling

    When the first rounds from a new rifle are decently grouped.

    New to me 25-06 Axis and Hornady American Whitetail 117gr Interlock. Of the 6 on paper the first three are the unmarked the last three are the ones with dots. First three shots were off a pretty unstable rest second three I adjusted and it held much tighter. Black square is roughly an 1in x 1in.

    Next time it’s on a solid bench with a couple different ammo choices.

    You’re right! There’s nothing like the feeling of “looking forward” to dialing a gun in. Congrats on the new purchase, I’ve been casually looking at that caliber myself!
