The sealing surface on the tire needs to be ground or brushed clean and smooth as well as the wheel. If done correctly it should last a couple few years for most rims. If they are chrome plated aluminum they will most likely not last very long due to the chrome bubbling and peeling between the tire and trim, you can only grind these so much before they are a lost cause. I’ll fix all 3 sets of rims if you take me fishing bk. I work in eagan.
