I have a deckboat that has cracks across the bottom of the hull I took it to a weld shop and the guy told me he didnt want the job because of the foam and where it was cracked. What epoxy or other type of filler/sealant to use for repair? The boat is a 24ft suncruiser built by seaark. Thanks for any and all help in advance

I had that issue once and it’s a tough one….The foam holds some water and tying to weld it can cool the metal enough the weld cannot get hot and stick……
My guy had to do some fancy figuring but he got it done…..
Check out a couple of other shops….

Are you sure there is foam in your hull? Over 20′ they are not required to have upright level floatation.
