What is the best way to attach aluminum conduits for runners on the floor of an aluminum boat. Don’t want to have to rivet them. Thanks

Post a photo of what you are trying to do, and you may get some input. After rebuilding my aluminum boat, I found rivets to be the preferred fastener for just about everything on it.

    I would ask here: https://forum.tinboats.net/

A lot of information already posted there about any and all rebuilds with aluminum boats. And experts to answer any questions.

When I restored my ’81 Lund I spent a lot of time on “tinboats.net”. When I was done I posted a story about it on the same website. Here is a link to that story.

I purchased most of my fasteners from “BoltDepot” and purchased a boat load (pun intended) of stainless steel screws.

Any time you join dissimilar metal you create a corrosion point through electrolysis, but a dry stainless/aluminum connection is pretty harmless. The key word is dry…

Good luck on your project. I ran all my wiring through plastic flex tube with a spare pull wire.
