The only two pictures I have that aren’t taken inside the boat holding fish. ’08 Nav 175, 150 e-tec, and T-8 kicker. Love the boat. Used to love the e-tec as well, but being that I’m on my third starter in 2.5 years, I’m starting to have a love / hate relationship with that.

    Here’s my mother-in-law’s 1993 Competitor 170 CS. It’s got an ’02 or ’03 Johnson 115 on it.

This boat’s got an interesting/amusing story behind it. My wife’s dad ordered it new without telling my mother-in-law about it. Before spring arrived, he passed away, so she got a surprised when the dealer called to tell her that her new boat was ready!

That’s sad and kind of funny at the same time. It doesn’t surprise me that the boat is still in the family.

Agreed! They’ve always got a part of the old man with them in the boat, though

I will be picking up a Phantom v170 with a 115hp Mariner this spring. I have fished in this boat before and it works great for fishing but needs help with getting the boat on plane. Will try different props to get a better hole shot.

I bought new in 2000. A lot of fishing in WI and three trips to Flin Flon MB. Honda is on it’s third lower unit thanks to Little Lake Athapap. Pretty beat up inside and out but still going strong.

I’ve got one of these coming in the next week or two with the same motor with a shorelander galvanized roller trailer. Went with the ice blue color. What kind of speeds are you seeing now that it is broken in?

So far I have gotten 48mph on the speedometer. At idle about 2.5 to 2.8 depending on conditions. Gets on plane very easy.
