2003 Alumacraft Tournamet Sport wiring hook up?

This might be stupid but just asking to verify. My battery boxex for 24 V system for bow mount electric motor is below the rod locker in the walk thru to the front deck. There is a set of positive and negative wires for connection coming from the port side. There is also additional negatives coming from the starboard side in the battery box area. I am assuming the set for both batteries coming from the port side are the ones to connect for an in line 24 volt system. Is this correct? Jsut wanted to double check.

Two of the wires from one side should be for the front trolling motor plug, on my 2009 alumacraft trophy I have a plug in the rear of the boat for a trolling motor in the rear. Check the voltage on the rear plug if you have one It should be 12 volts
