    Hello, I have a 2004 Magnum 165 tiller
I want to put a variable live well timer switch in. Right now all I have is a on/off switch. Any suggestions on what I kind of switch I should use ?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Mike,I cant tell you what brand/kind to use, but it all depends on how much room you have to mount it in your boat ,there are many styles and some take more room to mount.

I did do a Google search for “live well timer” and I came up with a few brands, styles and run times. They also vary in price.

Check it out and see what fits your needs and installation room.

As long as it is rated for 12VDC it is a matter of preference for the type of timer. What are you looking for in your timer? Simplest answer is to order OEM from Alumacraft.

    Thanks for the reply’s

I am going to contact Alumacraft and see what they have.

I would like to have a timer switch so I don’t have to go to the back of the boat and turn on/off the live well, when I’m fishing in the front of the boat….or try to tell some one else to do it.
