This summer I couldn’t stop the wife from buying a boat or at least that’s how I tell the story When we were doing the inspection I noticed an issue with the flooring. Talked the guy down a couple hundred more and picked it up.

After some trials, tribulations, and visits from Mr. Murphy we got the boat in good fishing condition. Now it’s time to tear the floor out and replace it. I’ll post pics along the way and update on teh progress.

For today here’s my question. Where is a good place(s) to pick up boat hardware kind of stuff? For example I’m thinking of adding a spot for in floor storage or maybe mounting the batteries under the front deck.

We’ll see how many, hmmm now that I’ve got the floor up what should I add to the project??? Original plan is a simple replace boards and carpet, that’s it.

Fleet farm has a good selection of stuff, im almost done with my project that I started right after having knee surgery last spring. Its alot of fun, I decked the front of my lil red lund for storage as well as removed the middle bench. Gluing carpet and trimming things out right now. Good luck with your remodel!

Make sure you use stainless steel hardware or it WILL rust, eep posted on how it is going.

Pictures tell a great story even without words
