I have seen that there are alot of boat owners with this small fuel tank compared to sales specs. Has anyone been notified by Alumacraft with a letter? I am not hearing alot about this anymore.

My 2011 Alumacraft Classic 165 has a 20 gallon gas tank as advertised//you don’t get a true gas gauge reading unless your on plane when i’m at a 1/4 tank I add 15 gallons..5 gallons per 1/4

I just had my fuel tank fixed by the dealer. Alumacraft has designed a wedge that is placed under the tank. This raises the vent to allow more fuel in the tank. Great job. I am able to now get approx. 28 gallons in the tank verses to 20 before.

I would like to hear what they are doing to fix the issue with your fuel tank. Mine they added a wedge under the tank to raise the vent.
