New Alumacraft Competitor 175 tiller is on the way and looking for a good place to have a custom cover made. But not sure yet or what type. Thinking a snap cover rather then a ratchet type because those seem to rub on the hull scratching it up. Ideas of where and anyone know ball park prices from having one made?

Kysers in Eden Prarie does my work. Last boat I had he did the cover, 2 motor covers, and spare tire cover for $700. Was done in 2-3 days. Can’t remember the #, but you can look it up on google. His name is Dave Kyser.

I had a ‘lumacraft 175 TP covered with a custom snap cover from North Country Canvas in Crystal. Small shop with great attention to detail, quality materials (Top Gun fabric) and great customer service. My brothers “new to him” 195 TP tiller is going to him soon.

Can’t speak to price. He’s always been fair priced in the past. I don’t even look around anymore (3rd cover). His attention to detail and the impressed looks of my prior 2 boats keeps me going back to him.

Sense you live in Blaine by me I will let you in on a little place that will do a great job for half the price of anyone else. The rest of you close your eyes… Economy Canvas up 65 just west on Viking Bld about 1 mile 763-413-2468 My 17′ Trophy $360 snap cover, Canvas Craft wanted $700

How is there quality and canvas quality? I am more concerned about a solid product then price. My boats see a TON of road miles so need a good solid product. Called both Canvas craft and North Country Canvas and both were at 700 give or take a bit.

They use the same products as every one else, stop by or call them and ask questions.
