I want to move weight forward on my 175 navigator w/ full windshield. I want to move them to the drivers side bow compartment. This compartment would actually allow me to keep them centered on the boat but move them 4 feet forward for weight distribution.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this and what the difficulties were.
Might want to call the factory and find out if that much weight can be supported there?
Not only stationary, but under heavy weather.

Why do you want to move weight forward? If your having the same problem I experienced (bow popping up so high on your hole shot that you cant see the 100 yards of water ahead of you), you should think about a hydrofoil. This was the answer for me, and cost about $70 is you install it yourself. If your trying to get more storage room that is another matter.
