Ice is out at the Murray’s Landing area and Lake of the Falls. Anglers there had great success on walleye in 10-15 fow on slo-fall jigs with large fathead minnows.
Sportsmens Landing has open water about 150 yard out and a boat launched and fished the area today.
The Lake Bastine area has open water about 50 yards from shore and the ice in the middle is black with open water pockets.
There is still ice, though black, on the Turtle River in front of Idle Shores, but open water to the north towards Pink Rock.
Complete “ice-out” should take place during mid-week.
