How did the ice hold up after we got this last round of rain then snow? (The lake I am really looking for would be victoria)

I have not been on the ice for over a month. However I have seen peoplewalking onto Victoria from highway 27 every day this week. It still looks good to go from what I’ve seen driving by.

I made it out on Sunday there is about 12 of good ice and 6 of frozen slush.

Is the ice still pretty tight to the shore? How was the bite. Brophy would be another good one to try.

The ice was still good, and the bite was really slow.

Hey Boys, sorry I missed this thread. I was on 6 different lakes that past fews days. The ice ranged from “I’m not going out there again” to trucks still on the ice. If you stayed away from moving water the ice is still pretty good. I found over 2 feet of solid ice on most of the lakes. Even with the very warm temps predicted this week I’d say there will still be good walking ice for this coming weekend.
