Has anybody been out lately? My dad and I are thinking about making a maiden voyage over there early next week. We will most likely try for some crappies and gills. Does anybody have any advise? Thanks.

Heard it was pretty slow a week ago but you know how that goes it can change from week to week. A lot of northern caught though so be prepared to be slimed….
January 31, 2011 at 10:46 pm #932152Bear, I’ve been hearing some good reports on sunfish out of the Glenwood end of the lake. I haven’t heard much as far as walleye go but if I was you I’d move around for sunfish during the day and then pick out a crappie or walleye spot for the evening bite.
We are getting some pretty good snow right now with some heavy drifting. I’d say we have around 6″ right now and still coming down. Before this last storm travel on the lakes was pretty good so I think even with this storm you should be able to get around pretty good. Good Luck!
