Hey guys the family and I are heading up to Mill Lake this weekend and I was wondering if anyone had a recent fishing report on the lake or general area. We will be targeting walleyes and crappies. Traveling up from Iowa, so any info on recent trends or successful presentations would help a lot. Thanks!

Fish the rock reefs on the south end toward dusk slip bobbers ,leech in 8-10 feet of water you will catch plenty , 25 fet gravel mud rigging with a 6 foot snell and leech during the day, Crappies try Isle bay haven’t fished for them but seen them earlier in the year in the weeds, Try twin bays also for crappie

I don’t think he meant Mille Lacs Lake

I think you were looking for some reports on Mill Lake by Alexandria correct?

I haven’t been out there in a few weeks but past history tells me you should try lindys and leeches and spinners and crawlers. Ask the resort owner where the community spots are, they’ll know. Hit those spots in the morning and evening and you should get some fish

If you have anymore questions let me know. I’ll answer them the best I can. Good Luck
