The Alexandria area is still kicking out good numbers of eater sized walleye along with the occasional large female. The fish are still up shallow in the 9-14 FOW, but don’t be afraid to go as shallow as 3-4 FOW if it’s windy. Minnows have been working best but I’m starting to see leeches turn a few here and there. The water is still in the mid 50’s so it’s not warming real fast. With the weather changing so much daily it’s been very hard to nail down a solid bite this year. With that said keep in mind it’s Spring and even though the walleye are moving daily they’re hungry so if you put in your time to find em you’ll be rewarded! Here’s a few from Saturday. Good Luck
