I work at Christophersons Bait in Alexandria. I might as well help you all out with a few good bites going on right now. Lake mary has been producing some good crappies also Reno. Now for the eyes Miltona and Minnewaska have been decent but the walleyes have been slowing down. If anyone would like to talk to me more in depth just sent me a message or a reply. Thankyou, Alex

Thanks for the update. Probably won’t make it up this winter but will see you in the spring.
If your fishing the Alexandria area, Christopherson’s is a must stop.

Thanks for the update. I’ll be in the area this coming weekend with a group of guys and we were hoping to hook into some eyes and possibly some crappies. We were thinking of hitting up Minnewaska Friday late afternoon/evening and then Le Homme Dieu on Saturday. My buddy wanted to go for some crappies on waska but maybe we should target eyes instead? I’ve caught my fair share of crappies this year but have yet to ice an eye so that’s the way I’m leaning. I’ve never fished the area so anymore info would be great. I don’t need the hot spot, but depth/structure/bait would be great. We’re staying on the south side of Carlos so I’m sure we will be stopping in for some bait.

On minnewaska ive heard alot of different things. The most recent was a good walleye bite located in the shallow weeds. But,on the other hand ive heard from a lot of different people that theyve been getting them anywhere from 15-20 and some deeper. But, there hve been som hot bluegill bites and a few crappies out there also. Now on lahomedu (please excuse my spelling) there is a city of houses the last place i was crappie fishing was on mary and i limited out there 3 days in a row in 12 fow. But, there is also a very good bite going on oasakis with some very big gills and crappies being caught. I heard rumers of a gill pushing the 2 pound mark. As for seeing you this weekend i will be done working on friday due to college in ely on monday and i need to catch some fish before i leave.

Anything going on Lake Carlos? I vacation out there in the summer and would like to get out there for some ice fishing.
