The week on Reno was fair giving the conditions. Water levels are down big time. Tried pulling nightcrawlers and leaches but could only intice rock bass and small perch. Let me tell you this lake is full of tiny perch. The kids went through countless dozen of crawlers, waxies and about 20 scoops of crappie minnows right of the dock pulling those things in. We finally found some decent crappies on the weedlines in 10-12 feet, the biggest coming close to 14″. There were also some decent sunnies mixed in. We figured out a walleye pattern a couple days into it. Night-trolling shad raps on the weed line, and stickbaits on the inside weedline, about 4-5 feet. Funny thing is these fish would not hit until the moon came over the horizon. Most of the fish were clones, either 17 1/2″ or 20″ with a few shakers thrown in. And they were very healthy, thought we snagged carp a few times the way they were taking drag.
