I am so excited to hit the lakes later this week. I need to redeem myself after failing at Mile Lacs in late Feb. we have always been able to find bass, but we really struggle with catching walleye. Our only tactic has been bottom bouncers with spinners trolling. I bought some jigs an plastics after watching videos lately and we are excited to give that a try.
Does anyone want to share with me lakes that might be hitting and tactics? Bait? Depths? A clue?!?!?
We usually hit Mary and go back and forth over the point, but we haven’t had tons of success there. I think that might be a good spot to throw jigs and plastics though.
I really appreciate any help. Mille Lacs has been mentally beating me up since I left there. I think way too much about finding Walleye and huge pressure on myself when I actually have the chance to find some.
