    I hit the ice tonight with a couple good friends in search of a big fish. In fact we almost stopped at my “numbers spot” but then decided to try for some big girls. It all payed off when my buddy caught his personal best through the ice. This beautiful 28″er took a 3/16oz jiggin spoon tipped with a fathead in 20 foot of water.

    My favorite part of early ice fishing has to be watching those big fish battle through that clear ice, what a show
