Alexandria Ice Conditions

    Joe, or anyone else that is around. I will be up on Miltona next week. Wondering what to expect for ice conditions. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I’m putting my house out tomorrow. I have not been on the ice yet this year, but from what I’m hearing I expect to see vehicles on the ice this weekend. I will update the post when I get back from putting my house out.

    Hi Howie, the ice is in great shape. Most of the lakes have 8″-12″ of ice. I haven’t been on Miltona yet but it froze when most of the other lakes did 2 1/2 weeks ago. There is wheeler traffic just about everywhere and I’m starting to see some full size trucks on some of the smaller lakes.

    Thanks guys. It will make planning a little easier knowing we have good ice. Now it’s up to me to make the fish cooperate.

    I had 9-10 on a fairly large lake today. No fish though.
