Opener Results??

    How did everybodys opener go? Mine not so good, started out at 5:00 am fished til the rain chased me and my brother off the lake at about 9:00 all we caught was one 14in walleye that we released and a 4lb bass. We fished every depth we could think of on every piece of structure we could find. So I don’t know what we were doing wrong, we tried draging jig, trolling rapalas, bobber fishing, and pitching jigs on wind blown rocks.

    We headed back out at 3:00 to a different lake and within 5min at our first spot we had a nice 17in eye in the boat but that was it, and we stayed out until my trolling motor batteries went dead at 8:30.

    I hope yours was better than ours.

    Thanks for the link, but was just curious how people did in the Alexandria area or if we just had a stink in the boat.

    Hi Hop, we didn’t do too bad. Opener Report We had great luck on eaters, but next week I’m hoping to tie into a couple hogs

    I’ve been having my best luck on gravel in 10-14fow. Jig and shiner or Lindy rig and a shiner. If you do this, you should catch some fish. Good Luck!
