Tried to make a post on Sunday but it disappeared. My boys and I pulled lead on Father’s day in the Alexandria area and had a great day. Almost all fish were caught in 22-23 fow. Focusing on large schools of 3 inch perch. My youngest was able to get his PB at 25″. Most fish were caught when the sun was beating down in the early afternoon. If the sun went behind the clouds, the bite slowed. Here are a few pics.

That lake always has a great leadcore bite. Thats a great day on the water. A local tournament that was fished had an aim format and 53 lbs won it and 50 lbs for 2nd place. We had 5th at 27 pounds. The bite is going for sure

Found a pretty good bite in the Alex area last night. Caught em on every method, even running a crank in the prop wash on a turn around caught one. Shallow shallow shallow. Water at 64 and mayflies hatching.
