Bay lake

Can anyone tell me how the crappie bite has been on Bay Lake the last couple days? I was up there over opener and the weekend after, but not this last weekend. The bite seemed to be tailing off in the shallows. Not looking for exact spots, but any info would be great. I’m taking three buddies from High School up there and they are very novice fisherman. Are they still in shallows, or a little deeper. Any depths that have been producing consistently?

I was on a lake not too far from there this weekend and killed em in 5-6′ of water, fishing weedlines with gulp and mimic minnow head. They were on fire!
