    anyone know about the ice situation up the aitkin area yet?

    they were fishing the Channel on the west side of minnewawa according to my dad on thanksgiving 5-6″ of ice

    Thanks, i fished the bay in front of my cabin on wilkins lake all weeked. 4 to 5 inches in the bay n under two on the main lake. do to five springs i would guess.

    If they have that much Ice up by the Channel on Minnewawa I would IMAGINE the Southern Main Basin would have a good 8-10″. Might have to make it up there in 2 weeks.

    talked to mom and dad, mom watched guys fishing with tip-ups and were getting northerns. Lip ripper keep me posted on when you’re going up maybe i can make a qwick trip up if i get my deer tags filled
