Crappies and Bluegills on Big Sandy

    There is a good bite going right now on Big Sandy in the weeds. Some very nice fish being caught.

    Have you fished Smith lake on the west side of Mille Lacs?

    My wifes uncle fished it last Sat and got into the slab crappies.

    His buddy has a place on the lake. I access the west shore in the woods in the winter.

    There use to be and cant think of the name off hand. About 6 years ago we use to use thier pay access. But I have been going out that west side now since its closer to were I fish.
