Clear Lake

The reports from my neighbors are that the sunnies are hitting in 13-15 feet of water on Clear Lake in Glen Mn. They have been using a wax worm on a small tube jig. They said the bigger fish are on or near the bottom……..below the smaller fish!

thanks for the report, need to head up there and try out sugar lake out of glen for the eyes in a few weeks. I know that there used to be a good crappie hole on sugar also. but havn’t heard anything about it from my gramps. I will check it out and get back to you,

Funny you should mention the eyes in Sugar???????its kid of a secret spot???? I heard of some piggies coming from there.

I have seen with my own two eyes, one 12# and one 10# in one evening drifting with a light breeze, right at dusk, where it would have been nice to have a light with, but tossing jointed raps on to the sand bar and bringing it back across the top of the weeds. We should hook up this fall and try out clear and sugar. I would be glad to show my secret spots. I am going to be heading that way towards the end of sept.
