    I was wondering if anyone had been out on Bay Lake at all? I have been out a few times and just got Northerns…

    10 miles northwest of Mille Lacs. Just southeast of Deerwood. Just southwest of Farm Island…

    Hi Crappace, When we get board during the dog days of summer on Mille Lacs, we sometimes get the energy to load the boat on the trailer and go to some area lakes. I have fished Bay a few times and found a lot of small snakes. If you go staight out from the public launch, and hit that first point on your right, you will find a lot of cabbage and foil. It drops off fast 16-20. Find an opening and jig with a 1/16 oz jig and leeches. You will find the Bass love em. 1/2 to 2 lbs. A lot of fun though. Otherwise try topwater weedless mice through reeds and lilly pads. Walleye??? Crappie????
