Gun Lake

Anyone been out to Gun? Ice conditions for 4 wheeler travel? Heading up Friday with son, I hope to get to my spots! Thanks for any info.

Fun lake to fish. Havent been on it in a few years now. You chasing pan fish or walleyes out there?

sure is. my folks have a place on it and we’re spoiled by the dock fishing. i really enjoy ice fishing it, know it well enough to stay away from the crowds and still get bit!

panfish and we’ll set tip ups for toothy guys. i believe the walleye population is pretty low right now, so the boy and I will stick with the pannies.

The inlaws had some nice spots to fish on that lake. Fun to be catching big slab crappies and watching one vehicle after another go from the access to the community holes on the other end of the lake.
