It’s been awhile since I have submitted some pics and a report so I pulled out the ole camera this last weekend and gave it a whirl. It has been long summer this year with my oldest graduating and getting him ready for college. Things are slowing down a bit and the camper is looking a lot better! We took last weekend to have a big fish fry and do our annual wife’s night out fishing. It definitely takes some planning to get the girls out but we managed Friday night. I had been fishing some area lakes around McGregor and had a pretty good night bite happening. It was odd because this lake has almost never hit at night for me before. I was concentrating in the 10 – 14 FOW range trolling my favorite plastics. I can’t say enough about Ring n Grubs when used properly. A little birdie has also told me that they might be available locally very soon! I will keep you up to date. I was holding my speed between 1.3 and 1.6mph using a GPS. This is also very key to the lures. We dumped the boat in and made it 50 yards and we had a 20” and a 16” as a double! They girls were ready! I looked up and the storm which I had thought was passing east switched and was on course! We quickly doubled back and put the boat on the trailer. We watched it pass with lots of lighting and I had told the girls it could be over. Much to my surprise they said lets head out anyway. Weird thing was the clouds split and we were back on them in minutes. We ended up with approx. 100 walleyes in 4 hours which is the second time I have did this in the area. Mostly small walleyes but catching is still catching! We had plenty for our weekend fry and we were off. The rest of the weekend was full of some great panfishing with the kids and another night out with my son. It is definitely getting to be that time of the year so get out there and get it done! Enjoy some pics.

    Great report
Sounds like your techniques just rocked them!
I was up on B-Sandy this last June and had hurricane winds a monsoon rains, not much for fishing…looking forward to getting back up there. What lake were you on?
