AGM Battery charging problem

I bought this from Fleet Farm in May of this year. It has been charging fine all summer. Just put the boat away for the winter and put the battery on the charger and it won’t take a charge. It haven’t charged it for 30 days, but it was fully charged sitting in the boat. I put a battery tender on it and that gave me the blinking red, put a battery charger on it and it wouldn’t register.
    Any thoughts?

Looks like you’ll be using the 18 months free replacement.

Hook your charger up to another battery to make sure it still works.

Double check and take it back. Or wait until spring if still with in the warranty. Won’t have one sitting around all winter unless you need power in your new skid house?

Take it into Fleet and have it load tested. Bring your receipt with you.

They will load test it for free while you wait.

If there is a problem you will have the receipt for an exchange.

Do you have meter, what is the voltage that it is putting out?

My guess is that you have a failed inter-cell weld.

Both chargers I have are working, I do not have a load tester at the cabin but I’ll check it when I get home.

Do I need my receipt to exchange it?

    That’s horrible!

My old Cabela AGM batteries would last 8-9 years…that said, a few years back they change so we’ll see.

Hope you get this worked out.
