8 1/2″ BG and 10″ crappies, last May. That was the last and only time I’ve been able to fish until next weekend for my last trip to LOW. Been a weird year with work , covid and mix in a Derecho!

13 inch crappie for me. Last weekend.

I’m also tipping a few back and sipping some Jameson. Trying to organize the new garage.

Yes, I’m tipping a few back this beautiful evening looking out over the big lake.

Check the ‘What’s for Supper’ thread later this evening for my most recent catch from (smaller) lake to table.

And no…it’s not a smallermouth bass. smirk

The last three were drum, catfish, drum. That pretty much sums up my hog haul performance.

26″ walleye I just let go. Looks like she was tagged at some point but it came off.

She did end up in the frying saucer tonight. Her and a few of her brothers and sisters. Its night 1 at the new house and we are trying to break it in right. Along with some music and a fire. War.ing up the neighbors

15.5” walleye over a month ago. 3 little rugrats 5 and under put a major a damper on fishing/fun, and I also try to get out bow hunting, too… not enough time anymore.

But, heading out tomorrow for 2 days of chasing steelhead around in the rivers!

Just got home a bit ago from “Friday Night Lights”! Xplorer Junior had his first football game tonight up at Mt Iron-Buhl stadium against Virginia. Good guys won 27-22. Was a great evening to sit in a stadium screaming again!!!
Last fish was a lake trout caught out of McQuade a couple weeks ago.

I’m still looking for that fight. Catch lots of those, but they seem like a snag in the light grass

Just over 15” Walleye Wednesday morning. For years a single small fish like that would have gone back to swim again. This year keeper fish are like gold and brought home. Very few bites lately and more 20” or over that have to be released.

Caught a pretty good buzz last night. The headache this morning is a keeper.

Earlier in the day I caught a pile of 15-18” walleye and sauger.
