OK I cleaned everything and new gas. will not start. now if I spray carb cleaner or starting fluid, it will run till the fumes are gone. Yes the gas line is flowing to the carb. any ideas for me??

Jets in carb most likely plugged by old gas turned to varnish, have jets replaced,

I just idsassembled, cleaned, and put a carb kit in my 2HP Tecumseh motor on a 12 year old Strikemaster Laser Mag Express that’s been running rough for about 5 years, and now she runs like brand new. The kit was about $12 bucks, and the job took all of 30 minutes. Get your motor model numbers off the powerhead and look up the carb kit. It’s most likely a Tillotson RK-18U kit, but check to make sure. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to show you the finer points.

Get the carb part number and check Amazon and Ebay. The whole carb may be cheaper than the rebuild kit or at least the few extra dollars for the carb makes overhauling the carb with a kit pretty unappealing.

I just got a whole new carb for my Stihl leaf blower for $15 on Amazon. I was going to rebuild the factory carb, but the replacement carb was $15 and the rebuild kit was $12.99.

    It took 10 minutes.
