He is not. If I recall correctly he changed jobs and didn’t have access to a CNC mill anymore. He got some quotes from machine shops but the price was just too high.

Shane’s out, but Al Forbes is making them.

Here’s what Al posted on a thread on Ice Junkies Facebook page today. I’m trying to get him to post here as well.

Isn’t vex’s whole deal the float? Or did they change?

Vexilar sells one. It fits over the rod holder. They break; the pivot pin connecting the two arms is plastic. I’ve broke two in 3 years. I don’t like using a float.

If you know anyone with access to a CNC mill and some experience, they are fairly simple to make, ive made a few for friends, but wouldn’t ever want to be taking orders, too much other work

I am looking to move the one that I previously purchased for my LX7 over to my lithium shuttle. I cannot get the freaking bolt off the the stock arm on the lithium shuttle. Anyone else switch this out yet?

Aluminum bar stock, common hand tools, and a bolt with a nylock nut.

Doesn’t anyone take shop class anymore?
