Advice on pool 2

Hello all. My work terminal is right off hardman and heard that stretch of river is pool 2. Im itching to get out and fish and was just curious how the shore fishing is by the 494 bridge. That spot is litterally a 1 min drive from my terminal and i am curious if its worth checking out. Dont care what i catch o just read it is year round cnr and im itching to fish. Thanks.

Only one way to find out! Lots of guys fish that area by boat, so I’m sure you’d run into a few from shore as well. I’ve had some success from shore a little further up river with a jig and a plastic.

I took my boys there twice last summer to try it. We managed one white bass from the fishing pier by the landing. It was very snaggy though. Saw some guys land a sauger and a catfish by just casting in worms on a heavy slip sinker.
