Advice for Lake Wissota

    I am looking for a new lake to fish. Open water and hard water as well. Hope is lake Wissota are there any resorts on it? Is the fishing good? Want advice would be appreciated. Mike C.

    Don’t think there are resorts on it. There’s a state park that has a couple cabins I think. Walleye fishing is good if you like catching stuff 15” and under.

    Live in Eau Claire and I avoid Wissota in the summer due to the amount of pleasure craft that use the lake. Crappies and walleye can be found, but weekends are almost unfishable.
