Hey guys, a couple buddies and I are thinking of doing a fall trip for smallies. We’d be going up for three or so days of fishing, and it’d be our first trip to the bay. Just looking for any and all advice you guys have for us, as far as lodging, fishing, and the trip in general. We’re all pretty good bass sticks, but we’ve never fished water as big as this before, so we’re not really sure where to start. What time/temperature do the smallies typically start heading back into the shallows to put the feed bag on? Or do they stay out deeper throughout the fall? Thanks guys, we’re hoping it’ll be a good trip.
