Im sure this topic has been beaten to death, but ill ask anyway.
Do you need an adapter for a 6″ auger to a milwaukee M18 fuel? I have seen the same setup with and without the clam plate and other various adapters but am wondering what peoples experiences are.

    Thanks!

    Brandon,

I run a StrikeMaster 6″ Lazer Synthetic Ultra-Lite auger on a Dewalt 20v Max Brushless Drill. I’ve been using a Kovac II Ice Master Adapter the last couple of winters and have had no issues.

I run a M18 Fuel with a Nils 6″ bit without any adapter plate. I just use the handle that came with the drill and haven’t had any problems at all. That thing is amazing how it goes through ice.
