He guys, I’m going to try to sneak up on the Sunday of opening weekend. I’m wondering if there is a launch or resort that I would have a better likelihood of finding a parking spot. I’ve only ever launched out of Myr Mar resort, but their parking spaces are very limited. I’d most likely be fishing the NE sand btw.

    Thanks!

I have fished 100+ boat tourneys out of Myr Mar. They have plenty of parking. Maybe not in the paved lot but out on the grass along the road. Should be no problems.

Red Door, Wealthwood public, even one of the Garrison landings. Key is get up early as the early bird gets the best parking spot. LOL

Wealthwood would not be on my list. Lake is down a foot right now. That access is tricky at normal lake levels. wave

Agree with Jon. Don’t wast your time at wealthwood. Myr Mar, Red door, or swing over to Fishers on Northeast side.

We usually go out of castaways, next one up from fishers.

No mention of Barnacle Bill’s, are they still open for business?

Agreed, don’t use that access unless you have a kayak or canoe to launch. I haven’t used Malmo Public Access in years now, but it was similar to Wealthwood and if the lake is still down, I’d avoid that one too.

I’ve also had issues with Cedar Creek Public Access when the water is down.
