Well, I said fairwell to a good ol’ friend Friday, a Lund Pro-V, and purchased a new WX 1910 from SBC. This is my first Skeeter and my first glass boat!

I’d love to know and see how you have your WX’s rigged, storage tips and any other advice or recommendations you’d recommend for this boat. It has a 200 Yamaha 4S, 9.9 remote kicker, tandem trailer with the walk up step, and will be using Lowrance electronics (HDS 9 console/HDS 7 bow/structure scan/ethernet).

I fish both big water and mid-size lakes for walleyes, bass, northerns/skis and occasional tubing. I don’t troll lead core/planers and there’s usually 3-4 fishing.

I’ll hopefully be getting it next weekend or shortly thereafter, so there’s plenty of time for input. Any and all advice appreciated!

Congrats in the new rig fisherman-j! I looked long and hard at the WX1910 but found a 2011 WX2100 that fit the bill for my needs for a tad less money and picked it up a few days ago. The money I saved I put back into 3 Lowrance Gen3 graphs. Those things are really nice and recommend highly.

I did have some problems getting this large lady on plane. I think after reading the article James @jamesholst wrote up last year about props, I will be installing a 19 pitch saltwater instead of the 21 that was on the boat when I got it.

Ask the Skeeter guys about it and get the right prop!

I’d check out the cisco trolling motor mount. My next boat will have one on vs the RAM mount.

Congrats on the new boat I just did the same thing traded my pro v for a WX 2060. All I can say is wow what a boat!!! Riders awesome compared to my Lund, which was a great boat. I picked up on my way to canada last week and spent the week fishing with 4 men in the boat and plenty of room and power. You will love your new boat.
