$1,000,000 donation to the California fire victims.
I have a whole new respect for Aaron Rodgers
He grew up right in that exact area. Still a very nice donation, but don’t you think he almost had to?
I have nothing against him, I just don’t know if most people are aware that he grew up in Chico, CA…. right next to Paradise, CA and that whole area that burnt to the ground.
Also his brother, Jordan Rodgers blasted Aaron for not even calling to check on his mother during the fires, who still lives in that area. It just changes the narrative slightly as compared to him donating money if he didn’t have ties to the area.
A-Rodg has brought a lot on himself on the field, but this donation and that amount are unbelievable.
To answer your question lindyrig about “don’t you think he almost had to?” I’d say 100% no. You hear that a lot to when, for example, the CEO of somewhere donates $10,000 and people say “well that’s nothing to them.” It’s their money and they don’t have to do anything. Lots of athletes donate money here and there but a $1 million donation from the Pack QB has got to be one of the larger donations by athletes I’ve ever heard of. Very nice move.
A million bucks is a million bucks. No matter the reason or who did it. Well done.

I’ve been hearing for a couple years now that AR hasn’t spoken to his family in a while.
That was very nice of him.
Lord knows they could use the support.
Im sure there is a lot of things nobody outside the family knows, too bad the brother tries to keep his name in public view. A-rod did not have to do what he did and that alone should be enough to show his character. for the record, Im not a NFL fan
He’s OK in my book and a great Qb. What he needs is a coach that has some idea of which plays to call.
Well done. Sarcastic vikes comment: did his referee buddy’s also chip in?
Just kidding good deal and respect.
That was one of his best moves in years. I hope it was some of his State Farm ad money. Go Vikes!

His brother is kind of a d-bag that tries to keep himself on TV and is always looking for attention.
Who cares if Aaron doesn’t get along with his family? He’s not the first person in the world who doesn’t.
And the funny thing about phones, is they work two ways. Is his mom a bad person because she didn’t reach out to Aaron?
Family drama is nothing new.
Cheers to Aaron for helping out to those in need.
His brother is a dbag for making it public no matter what is going on in their family.
Airing dirty family laundry for everyone to see does no one any good. His brother just drove the wedge between him and his family further.
Kudos to Rodgers for his charity work.
