As I said there are possible effective treatments and vaccines that are showing some promise. Stay calm or not, your choice.

I firmly believe there is a good deal of not just hope but signs that this will be put in check sooner than later and the fatality rate will remain low. The best scientists, and researchers in the world are here and are working towards reaching a solution. Names we don’t know or have never heard of are going to come to the forefront with solutions.
Since I have posted this the fatality rate has ticked up to 1.4% which is still far lower than the early on predictions. We agree, lets take the encouragement when it shows itself rather than passing it off waiting for the worst.

The fatality rate is calculated off confirmed cases of the virus. Right now there are over 43,000 confirmed cumulative cases with with over 500 deaths giving you a fatality rate of 1.2% Numbers are constantly changing of course.
Too add I have not seen any data or numbers cited of the virus alone causing death. Normally other pre existing medical conditions coupled with the virus is what’s been causing fatalities. As well as age being a large factor.

If someone dies that wasn’t tested do they know what they died from. There are not enough test for the living. Do they test the deceased? If most of the people that pass away from Corvid 19 have underlying conditions how many had the virus and didn’t know it?

They are getting tullibee on pokegama now , I’ve haven’t been by there in a while. Can’t speak to ice conditions for a wheelhouse. I’ve been going to small hidden jems for panfish . Sorry I’m not much help.

Lately my thing has been chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and I put chocolate syrup on it with M&M’s. That’s probably way too much but it’s good.

Looks like a nice catch there Gino! Hope I can get into some of those this week. Either way it will be nice to get together with my neighbor up there and have a few and check the homestead out and make sure the pontoon cover is still on and maybe shovel off the deck!

It was pretty nice out today, probably no snow on your deck. Just go fishing, and have a few !

Well part of the issue is that I had some cookie dough when I was younger and got a really bad case of salmonella from the raw eggs in it, so anything related to cookie dough really turns me off. Plus I don’t care for ice cream, candy, syrup, or anything else’s that’s loaded with sugar. But you go ahead and continue with your bowl of diabetic nightmare Dan.
