Ne rifle opened up on Saturday November 11th.
My taxidermist I use down there sent me these 2 pics that he took in this week.
The first buck goes 211 and the second buck goes 214. One buck was shot east of Beatrice the other was shot SW of Beatrice.

Such majestic beasts. Truly a awesome creature. I couldn’t imagine seeing one of them in the stand
Got a little more info on the two bucks. Both were shot opening weekend of Nebraska rifle season. Both bucks were hit the week before with archery equipment and not recovered. The girl that got the one buck. It was her boyfriend that hit the buck during the archery season.
The other buck it was the same guy that hit it during archery season and then shot it during the rifle season.
Thats crazy they both got second chances at deer that old.
