Rest in peace Steve. You will be missed. He left on his bike and never returned home. He was a one of a kind guy and my good buddies uncle. We went up all the time to see him and fish the rainy river. Or lotw. He was so welcoming and easy to talk to guy. And I’m heart broke for his wife and family.

Yes its true. Or I’d never post it. I got the call last night. My son and i were just up there at his house not long ago. We always went up to fish and would end up with endless amounts of chores and loved helping him and his wife robbie out.

Me: “Sorry for waking you”
Steve: “no problem, I was up waiting for you.”He was one of the good ones. So sad.

July 13, 2020 at 8:27 am #1956748Sorry to hear that, Bearcat. I just started my love affair with LOTW this past winter and by my third time buying bait there he knew my name. Service that’s rare these days.
