Not sure if the order will post correctly. Brother in law sent me these and I thought they were pretty neat.

The order was 3 1 2 I believe. You can see the doe break a new trail then the heard of deer, followed by the buck. After the fresh snow fall

All I see is a snow storm or your pics are to big and taking to long to load.

Those are some cool pictures. The deer have been working hard to get to my feeder with all this snow. If this snow does not let up a little, Its going to be hard on the Deer population. Ever once in awhile when I see a deer at my feeder before I’ve had a chance to get it filled, I feel Bad. Like they went through all the work to get to it and I let them down by not having it filled. Usually I run out right away and fill it. They normally run off and come back shortly after they hear me fill it.
What Tacta Cam model does your BIL have? those are some excellent looking pictures. I mostly only have night shots on mine so have not had much chance to see what the pictures look like during daylight. I hay have to adjust my Hours so I can get some daylight pictures. Just don’t want endless shots of tree Rats !!!

The deer are definitely yarded up. Had 11 of them at the “turkey” feeder 2 weeks ago, now up to 16 a night. Guy at work had over 70 in his Hay field just last night. Really hoping they can get some food. going to be a very hard winter on all critters this year, unfortunately.

    Cool Pics BC!

They sleep well in all this snow tho. These two were out my office window until about 10 am.

This winter will be hard on the deer population. Its only the 1st week of January and months of winter left.
That heavy wet snow freezes making it hard to scratch through and find food.
You’ll see the numbers take a hit and in some places it wasn’t that large to begin.
    Not to mention other species.
    This winter socks.

What is the best supplement feed program? I’ve read filling them with corn throws off their digestive system and can cause more issues than it solves. Any recommended food?

    I’d be careful with that.
Feeding deer is banned in all of MN.
Food plots are best but obviously too late for that.
When it was allowed, I never fed corn. They can eat a ton so not cost effective and if they haven’t had it as part of their recent diet, can cause problems like you said.
Hay or grass baled that year was safe. But again, they eat a lot.
Also once you start, don’t stop.

I hinge cut trees which brings buds down to their level. Or any type of browse cut and piled. This year, good luck getting in the woods. I can’t right now but hope to later this winter and do some hinge cutting. I could say a lot about this type of thing but it’s best if you Google it.

Bottom line is unless you can provide something natural like browse. Don’t do it.

Bird feeders? Great but be prepared to buy a lot of bird food!

    Not to mention other species.

Pheasants are in really big trouble out west. The snow is very deep and drifted up in that flat, open terrain without any trees.

South Dakota’s season goes all the way through January but I can’t imagine there are very many hunters even trying anymore.

I’ve officially shut my cameras off for the season. Most the bucks have lost there racks. Early January I started seeing a bunch of bucks I’ve never seen before. So that gives me big hope for next season

Bearcat it’s interesting that your bucks are seeded out. I hunt around Schafer and I’m still getting pics with horns attached yet?
