Guys I’m a pretty frugal guy and there have been a lot of hiccups along the way to making this happen but ive been dreaming of having a setup like this for years! Today is the first time on the ice with all the components in place. Now time to catch some fish

Nice light setup. Should suit you well I ran an old bigbear 350 for years. Great unit and if the do get stuck you dont need a truck to get them out

Thanks for the comments fellas. I do like that it’s light. Can be manhandled pretty easily if need be.

Yup you’re right eelpout thats facing seton. Im on black currently. Not my favorite spot to fish but just wanted to get out for a quick trip. I live just a few blocks away. Best part is I can go from my driveway turn down one street and be on the lake using a neighborhood access without having to trailer.

Beeletaine i will say its been weird fishing without beer. Currently on a diet. Im down 10 pounds so far though!

I remover fishing black lake when I lived in the metro. It was great for crappies in the spring. One of the few things I miss about the metro – fishing Tonka

Put a Digger Auger mount on the front rack, best thing you can add to an ATV ice rig.

He’s a good dude and a great fisherman. Never get to hang out with him enough. Was hoping to go to Ontario with him for the lake trout opener, but maybe next year we can go again.

I had planned on that but I want to be able to have a holder that can carry a gun as well as an auger. Also didn’t feel like spending a lot. For that reason I went with the koplin auger mounts. We will see how they work. Also ordered a large plano tote for the back. Sure is fun running and gunning with a quad

Digger has an outdoors edition auger rack that also has gear straps to secure a gun, chainsaw, etc

Fleetfarm had it for sale down to $89 a few weeks ago

Nice set-up. Let me know if you ever want to hit up Tonka.. I usually fish out of Gideon’s but, have been venturing over to Mound more and more.

Nice rig, you will enjoy it. I just need to find a good used 4-wheeler for mine.
